HomFinans is operated by Samadaei Tech AB, Sweden.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the HomFinans mobile application.

Information You Enter

HomFinans allows users to manually enter and manage household financial information, including:

• Income, budgets, and expenses
• Expense and budget categories
• Family member names and percentage-based shares
• Recurring expense information
• Monthly and annual household financial records

This information is stored locally on the user’s device. HomFinans does not transmit this financial information to Samadaei Tech AB or store it on company-controlled servers.

HomFinans does not connect to bank accounts, process payments, transfer money, provide loans, manage investments, or provide financial advice.

How Information Is Used

Information entered into HomFinans is used only within the app to:

• Organize household income, budgets, and expenses
• Calculate shared amounts between family members
• Display monthly and annual summaries and charts
• Calculate expected and actual household savings
• Support recurring expenses
• Create user-requested backup and transfer files

Data Storage and Backup

HomFinans works offline and does not require an account or sign-in.

Financial information entered by the user is stored locally on the device. Users may voluntarily export their household data as a backup or transfer file. Exported files are created and shared only when the user initiates the action.

Users are responsible for protecting exported files and deciding where and with whom those files are stored or shared.

Advertisements and Remote Content

HomFinans may display promotional banners, native advertisements, or sponsored content within the app.

Advertisement images, links, and configuration information may be retrieved from remotely hosted sources. These services may automatically receive limited technical information, such as the device’s IP address, when remote content is requested. HomFinans does not use these advertisements to collect the financial information entered by users.

If a user chooses to open an advertisement or external link, the privacy policy of the destination website or app will apply.

Third-Party Services

HomFinans may rely on third-party services for app distribution, remote advertisement configuration, hosted images, external links, and technical functionality. These may include:

• Google Play services
• Apple App Store services
• GitHub-hosted content

These services may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

Samadaei Tech AB does not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal or household financial information.

HomFinans does not share financial records entered by users with third parties. Data is shared externally only when the user voluntarily exports or transfers a backup file or opens an external link.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because household financial data is stored locally, users control its retention. Users can delete individual records, clear app data, or uninstall HomFinans to remove locally stored information.

Exported backup files must be deleted separately from any location where the user has saved or shared them.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the app and locally stored information. However, no device, storage system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should protect access to their devices and store exported backup files securely.

Children

HomFinans is designed for adult household finance management and is not directed toward children under 18.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when HomFinans features or applicable requirements change. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
